Application

This lintel is typically used in cavity walls with a wide inner leaf, supporting blockwork widths from 125 to 150mm. It’s suited for lintelling over door and window openings where heavy loads are expected, ensuring structural integrity on demanding projects. Builders should ensure the inner leaf blockwork does not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm and that blockwork is built tight against the lintel’s inner face. Propping the lintel during installation is recommended to maintain speed and safety on site.
