Please note that proper installation, including filling all joints with mortar, is essential for performance.

Application

This lintel is commonly used to span openings such as doors and windows in cavity walls where a heavy duty load-bearing element is required. It is well suited to supporting brickwork or blockwork above structural openings in both residential and commercial builds. To ensure stability and load distribution, a mortar bed should be placed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units. Propping the lintel during construction is recommended to maintain safety and speed up the build process.
