The Keystone BOX/K-200 Solid Wall Box Lintel 4200mm INS is engineered for builders and contractors working with solid masonry walls ranging from 100 to 215mm in thickness. This standard duty lintel supports internal openings up to 200mm wide, providing reliable structural support combined with enhanced thermal insulation thanks to its integrated insulation layer. Please note, the lintel requires a minimum end bearing of 150mm on each side and must be bedded in mortar.

Application

This box lintel is ideal for supporting internal openings in solid masonry walls, commonly used in both new build and refurbishment projects. Its perforated surface serves as a plaster key, ensuring strong adhesion for finishing coats. Suitable for walls where thermal performance is a consideration, the insulated version offers improved energy efficiency without compromising load-bearing capacity. For safe and efficient installation, propping is recommended until masonry is fully set.
