Details

The Keystone BOX/K-150 Solid Wall Box Lintel 3000mm INS is a specialist structural lintel designed for builders and contractors working with solid masonry walls between 100mm and 215mm thick. Its built-in insulation enhances thermal performance, making it a reliable choice for internal openings where both strength and energy efficiency are priorities. Please note, this lintel must be installed with a minimum end bearing of 150mm on each side and bedded in mortar.

Application

Ideal for supporting the full wet masonry load above internal openings in solid walls, this lintel is commonly used in residential and commercial projects requiring standard load bearing capacity. Its perforated surface acts as a plaster key, improving the finish quality and adhesion of plaster or render. Suitable for use with solid brick or block walls, the insulated version offers added thermal benefits without compromising structural integrity. For optimal installation, lintels should be propped during construction to maintain position and speed up the build process.
