The Keystone BOX/K-100 Solid Wall Box Lintel with insulation is a robust solution tailored for contractors and builders working on solid walls 100 to 215mm thick. Its built-in insulation improves thermal performance, making it ideal for internal openings where energy efficiency matters. Please note, lintels require a minimum bearing and proper bedding for safe installation.

Application

This lintel is designed to carry standard loads over internal openings in solid masonry walls. The box construction allows it to bear the full weight of wet masonry immediately, streamlining build times on site. It’s suitable for use in residential and commercial projects where reliable structural support and thermal insulation are priorities. To ensure safety and performance, lintels must be propped during installation and have at least 150mm bearing on each side, set firmly on mortar.
