The Keystone BOX/K-100 Solid Wall Box Lintel 2550mm INS is engineered for builders and contractors working with 100mm solid walls who need reliable structural support combined with improved thermal insulation. This standard duty box lintel is fitted with internal insulation to enhance energy efficiency without compromising strength. Please note, lintels must be installed with specified bearing and bedding for optimal performance.

Application

Designed to support internal openings in solid masonry walls ranging from 100mm to 215mm thickness, the BOX/K-100 lintel carries the full load of wet masonry immediately upon installation. It is commonly used in residential and commercial builds where insulated lintels are required to meet thermal performance standards. Proper end bearing of at least 150mm on mortar bedding is essential, and propping during construction is recommended to maintain structural integrity and accelerate build times.
