The Keystone BOX/K-100 Solid Wall Box Lintel 1350mm INS is a specialist structural lintel tailored for builders, contractors, and site managers working with 100mm solid walls. This insulated ('INS') version incorporates extra thermal protection, helping to meet modern building standards while providing dependable load-bearing support on internal openings.

Application

This box lintel is designed to carry the full load of wet masonry immediately after installation, making it well suited for standard-duty internal openings in solid walls between 100mm and 215mm wide. It is commonly used to span doorways, windows, and other structural gaps, ensuring stability and compliance with building regulations. To maintain performance and safety, a minimum end bearing of 150mm on each side is required, with the lintel bedded on mortar. Propping is recommended to accelerate construction times and ensure correct load distribution.
