The Siniat GTEC Self Tapping Screws 4.80x90mm are engineered to provide a secure and durable fixing solution for contractors working with thick gauge metal studwork. These screws are specifically designed for trade professionals installing GTEC plasterboard systems, ensuring strong attachment and reliable performance on site. Application

Ideal for fixing GTEC plasterboard panels to metal studs thicker than 0.7mm, these self tapping screws deliver a strong hold required for structural integrity in dry lining projects. They are commonly used by plasterers, dry liners and site operatives to ensure plasterboard remains firmly attached in both commercial and residential developments. Correct screw placement is critical: screws should be at least 10mm from bound edges, 13mm from cut edges, and a minimum of 3mm from the stud edge, with a penetration depth of at least 10mm into the metal stud.
