The Siniat GTEC Self Tapping Screws 3.50x42mm are specifically engineered for tradespeople working with plasterboard and metal stud frameworks. Supplied in boxes of 1000, these screws deliver reliable fixing performance for serious contractors tackling thick gauge metal stud applications. Their robust design and zinc coating provide lasting durability and corrosion protection on site. Please note the screws must be positioned correctly relative to board and stud edges for optimal fixing strength.

Application

These self tapping screws are designed to securely attach a variety of GTEC plasterboard types to metal studs thicker than 0.7mm. Ideal for drywall installers and site teams, they enable fast, accurate fixing with a fine thread that grips firmly without damaging the board. Proper installation requires screws to be located at least 10mm from bound edges, 13mm from cut edges, and a minimum of 3mm from the metal stud edge, penetrating the stud by at least 10mm to ensure a solid hold.
