The Siniat GTEC Self Drilling Screws 4.20x65mm are engineered specifically for contractors and developers attaching plasterboard to thick gauge metal studwork. These screws provide reliable, time-saving fixings that ensure a solid, lasting installation on serious dry lining projects. Please note the screws are supplied in boxes of 500 to support bulk purchasing needs.

Application

These self drilling screws are ideal for fastening a wide range of GTEC plasterboards to metal studs thicker than 0.7mm. Their fine thread and Phillips head design deliver excellent grip and control, reducing installation time and minimising the risk of damage to boards or studs. Correct placement is essential: screws should be at least 10mm from bound edges, 13mm from cut edges, and located a minimum of 3mm from the metal stud edge with a minimum 10mm penetration depth into the stud to ensure secure fixing.
