These drywall screws are perfect for fixing a variety of GTEC plasterboard products onto timber studs. Their high thread profile grips timber firmly, reducing the risk of loosening and ensuring a stable wall finish. Typical applications include internal partition walls, ceilings, and refurbishment projects where timber frameworks are standard. Correct placement is essential: screws should be positioned at least 10mm from bound edges, 13mm from cut edges, and at a minimum of 6mm from the timber stud edge, with a penetration depth of at least 25mm into the timber for optimum hold.
