The Siniat GTEC CH Stud is a specialist non-loadbearing metal stud engineered for use within GTEC Shaftwall systems. Tailored for builders, contractors, and site managers working on multi-storey developments, this stud provides a reliable solution for fire-resistant shaft construction. It is supplied as a 6600mm length, suitable for efficient installation and compliance with building regulations. Please note, this product is intended for use as part of the GTEC Shaftwall system and should be installed accordingly.

Application

This stud is primarily used in the construction of shaftwall partitions to prevent the spread of fire through vertical shafts in multi-storey buildings. Installed at 600mm centres alongside GTEC E Stud and compatible J or U tracks, it enables a robust shaftwall framework that can be boarded from one side only. This feature significantly reduces the need for scaffolding and accelerates on-site progress while maintaining safety and structural integrity under pressure variations common in deep shafts and voids.
