The Expamet 508F3000 20mm Stainless Steel Render Stop is designed for trades professionals seeking reliable edge protection and a straight finish on external render projects. Supplied in cartons of 25, each bead measures 3000mm long and features an expanded wing for enhanced render reinforcement. Please note that these beads are intended for above DPC installation and are not suitable for coastal or highly corrosive environments.

Application

This render stop is ideal for builders, plasterers, and contractors aiming to achieve a clean, durable edge on rendered walls. Its stainless steel construction resists corrosion, making it suitable for most external applications except exposed coastal sites. The undercut 'bellcast' profile helps shed rainwater at the wall base, protecting the render from moisture damage. It should be fixed at intervals no greater than 600mm and is not compatible with gypsum-based plasters. Care should be taken during installation to avoid damaging the bead, and abrasives must not be used for cleaning.
