Application

Designed to securely support timber joists in studwork, flooring frameworks, and ceiling plasterboarding, this joist hanger facilitates safe load transfer and structural stability. It is especially suited for use where precise fixing and alignment are critical, such as in residential and commercial builds. Follow installation guidelines carefully to ensure maximum performance, including ensuring the back of the hanger sits flush against a solid wall and joists are cut square with a narrow gap not exceeding 6mm.

Important installation notes: The back of the hanger must be firmly pressed against the wall. Joists should be cut square with a maximum 6mm gap from the rear of the hanger. Ensure at least 675mm of set masonry is in place over the support flange before applying loads. Joists must be nailed through the side gusset using 3.75x30mm square twisted nails. Additionally, the underside of joists should be notched to provide a level surface for plasterboarding.
