Installation Notes: The back of the hanger must sit flush against the wall, with joists cut square and no more than 6mm gap from the hanger rear. Ensure a minimum 675mm of set masonry is in place over the support flange before applying loads. Joists should be fixed through the side gusset using 3.75x30mm square twisted nails. Additionally, the underside of joists should be notched to provide a level surface for plasterboarding. These hangers are manufactured 10mm shorter to allow for on-site joist notching and adjustment.
