Application

These bent straps are commonly used to reinforce and tie structural components such as timber joists, blockwork, and plasterboard frameworks. The 100mm bend allows the strap to be built in with the downstand held tightly against the block face, providing a neat and secure fixing. Typically, straps are fixed across three joists with noggins between, requiring one fixing per joist and one per noggin, ensuring robust floor or wall construction.
