Details

The Expamet 570A3000 External Render Stop is a professional-grade metal bead designed to deliver a clean, durable finish on external rendering projects. Supplied in a carton of 50 pieces, each 3000mm long, it’s ideal for builders and contractors who require consistent quality and reliable performance on site. Please note, this product is not recommended for use in exposed coastal or corrosive environments, where stainless steel alternatives should be considered.

Application

This render stop is perfect for defining straight edges in external render applications, reinforcing vulnerable corners and edges to prevent cracking. Its expanded wing design integrates with the render to strengthen the finish, while the undercut 'bellcast' profile efficiently sheds rainwater to protect the base of walls. Suitable for use above damp proof course (DPC) level, it should be fixed securely at intervals no greater than 600mm. Avoid use with gypsum-based plasters and take care not to damage the bead during trowelling or cleaning.
