Application

This galvanized coil is primarily used to reinforce plaster applied over chased walls or where plaster meets dissimilar materials, preventing cracks and damage. It is ideal for contractors and site managers requiring a durable metal reinforcement that integrates well with plasterwork. The coil should be fixed staggered across chases at 300mm centres and spaced 5-6mm from the substrate to allow plaster to fully encapsulate the mesh strands. When applying over different materials, isolate the plaster from the background using building paper.
