Supplied in a box of 14 beads, each measuring 3000mm, it is a dependable choice for builders and contractors working on internal walls where durability and precision are essential. Please note, these beads are not suitable for exposed coastal or corrosive environments.

Application

Movement beads like the Expamet 591D3000 are installed at regular intervals (no more than 600mm apart) to accommodate structural expansion and contraction in plastered surfaces. They are typically fixed over metal lathing backgrounds, where they can be wire tied to the face of the lath. The expanded wing design reinforces the plaster edge, preventing cracking and providing a clean, straight finish. Protective strips should be removed only after plastering is complete to avoid damage.
