Details

The Expamet 511F3000 is a 16mm stainless steel plaster stop designed to deliver clean, straight edges on plastered surfaces. Supplied in cartons of 25, each bead measures 3000mm in length, making it ideal for contractors and site managers who require reliable, high-quality metalwork for plastering and rendering tasks. Please note that these beads are not suitable for use with gypsum-based plasters or in highly corrosive or coastal environments.

Application

These plaster stops are primarily used to create crisp, durable edges on external render and plaster finishes. The expanded wing reinforces the plaster, helping to prevent cracking and chipping along edges vulnerable to impact or wear. They are commonly installed in both new builds and refurbishment projects where a professional finish is essential. Installation requires fixing at intervals not exceeding 600mm, and stainless steel fixings should be used to maintain corrosion resistance. Care should be taken to avoid damage during trowelling, and abrasive cleaning methods should be avoided.
