Details

The Catnic CXL350 extreme load cavity wall lintel is engineered for builders and contractors requiring robust and dependable support in cavity wall construction. Ideal for cavity widths between 150 and 165mm with inner leaf thickness from 110 to 115mm, this lintel ensures structural integrity on demanding jobs. Please note a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) must be installed during build as it is not included.

Application

This lintel is designed to carry heavy loads over openings in cavity walls, such as large window or door spans, where exceptional strength is critical. It is well suited to residential and commercial developments needing a structurally sound solution for wider cavity walls. The lintel must be laterally restrained and supported with a minimum 200mm end bearing to meet loading specifications.

The lintel must be installed with care to ensure lateral restraint and proper bearing support. Remember, a separate flexible DPC is essential to maintain the cavity’s damp proofing integrity.
