Details

The Catnic CXL350 is a specialist extreme load cavity wall lintel engineered for builders and contractors working on demanding structural projects. Measuring 6000mm in length, it is ideal for cavity walls between 150-165mm with an inner leaf thickness of 110-115mm. Supplied with a durable post galvanised finish, this lintel ensures long-lasting performance and corrosion resistance on site. Please note a separate flexible DPC must be installed alongside this lintel during build.

Application

This lintel is designed to carry heavy loads over openings in cavity walls, commonly used in residential and commercial developments where structural integrity is critical. It suits cavity widths of 150-165mm and inner leaf thicknesses of 110-115mm, providing robust support for brickwork or blockwork above doors, windows, and other openings. To meet loading specifications, the lintel requires lateral restraint and a minimum 200mm bearing at each end, with inner to outer leaf load ratios between 5:1 and 19:1.
