The Catnic CXL350 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel at 5700mm is engineered for contractors and developers working on high-load cavity wall projects. Its robust construction and galvanised finish offer reliable strength and durability, making it a trusted choice for serious structural applications. Please note that a separate flexible DPC is required and not included with the lintel.

Application

This lintel is specifically designed for cavity walls with 150-165mm cavity width and an inner leaf thickness of 110-115mm. It performs exceptionally well in heavy-load situations such as multi-storey residential or commercial developments where structural integrity is paramount. The lintel must be laterally restrained on site and installed with 200mm minimum end bearing supports to achieve its designed load capacity. It is also suitable where inner to outer leaf load ratios range between 5:1 and 19:1.

Lengths are available in 50mm increments up to 6600mm to suit a range of structural requirements. An optional expanded metal mesh can also be supplied fixed to the base plate if required. Remember to include a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) during installation, as this is not supplied with the lintel.
