The Catnic CXL350 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel, measuring 5000mm, is engineered for contractors and site managers handling demanding structural projects. Its robust design and post-galvanised finish ensure dependable performance in cavity walls from 150 to 165mm wide and inner leaves between 110 and 115mm. Please note that a separate flexible DPC must be installed during construction to complement the lintel’s performance.

Application

This lintel is ideal for heavy load-bearing cavity wall constructions, commonly used in commercial or large residential developments requiring substantial structural support. It is designed to carry extreme loads where lateral restraint and adequate bearing (minimum 200mm at each end) are provided. Typical scenarios include spanning above large window openings, doorways, or other structural wall penetrations where strength and durability are critical.
