The Catnic CXL350 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel at 4650mm is engineered for demanding structural applications where strength and reliability are paramount. Ideal for builders, site managers and contractors working on substantial cavity wall projects, it offers robust support for heavy loads while ensuring long-term corrosion resistance with its galvanised steel finish. Please note, a separate flexible DPC must be fitted during installation to maintain moisture protection.

Application

This lintel is specifically designed for cavity walls with a 150-165mm cavity and an inner leaf thickness of 110-115mm. It’s suited to high-load scenarios such as ground floor openings, lintelled walls supporting masonry above, and structural elements requiring extreme load-bearing capacity. The lintel must be laterally restrained and supported with a minimum 200mm end bearing to achieve specified load capacities.
