The Catnic CXL350 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel at 4400mm is engineered for builders and contractors tackling heavy-duty structural openings in cavity walls. Its robust design and galvanised finish ensure dependable performance on serious building projects. Please note, this lintel requires a separately installed flexible DPC during construction for optimal moisture protection.

Application

This lintel is specifically suited for supporting openings in cavity walls with a cavity width of 150-165mm and inner leaf thickness between 110-115mm. It is ideal for use in commercial and residential developments where heavy loads must be safely transferred across openings such as large windows, doors, and other structural gaps. The lintel’s design accommodates lateral restraint and requires end bearing supports of at least 200mm to achieve its specified load ratings.
