The Catnic CXL350 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel at 4050mm is engineered specifically for demanding structural applications where heavy loads must be reliably supported. This lintel is designed for builders, contractors, and site managers working with cavity walls between 150-165mm and inner leaves of 110-115mm. Please note a separate flexible DPC is required during installation to maintain wall integrity.

Application

This lintel is ideal for use in cavity wall construction requiring extreme load-bearing capacity, such as large openings or heavy masonry facades. It suits projects where structural reliability and durability are critical, including commercial builds and robust residential developments. The lintel must be laterally restrained with a minimum 200mm bearing at each end to achieve rated load capacities, and inner to outer leaf load ratios should be maintained between 5:1 and 19:1. For enhanced integration, an optional version with expanded metal mesh fixed to the base plate is available.
