The Catnic CXL350 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel is engineered for builders and contractors tackling demanding structural projects. Measuring 3500mm in length, this lintel is designed specifically for 150-165mm cavity walls with inner leaves of 110-115mm, making it a reliable choice where extra load capacity is essential. Please note, a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) must be fitted during installation as it is not included with the lintel.

Application

This lintel is ideal for supporting heavy structural loads above openings in cavity wall construction, such as large windows, doorways, or other critical load-bearing points. Its robust design suits serious projects requiring high load resistance, commonly specified by site managers and structural engineers. Installation requires 200mm minimum end bearing supports and lateral restraint to achieve the stated load capacities. It is also suitable for use with inner-to-outer leaf load ratios between 5:1 and 19:1.
