The Catnic CXL350 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel at 3450mm is engineered specifically for builders and contractors handling heavy structural loads in cavity wall construction. Please note, this lintel is supplied without a DPC; a separate flexible DPC must be fitted during installation.

Application

This lintel is ideal for use in cavity walls with widths ranging between 150mm and 165mm and an inner leaf thickness of 110-115mm. It is designed to carry extreme load requirements, making it well suited for large-scale developments, commercial builds, and heavy residential projects. To achieve full load capacity, the lintel must be laterally restrained and supported by minimum 200mm end bearings. It’s commonly used above large window or door openings where structural integrity is critical.
