The Catnic CXL350 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel is engineered for builders and contractors requiring a robust solution for heavy structural openings. Perfectly suited for cavity walls between 150 and 165mm, with an inner leaf thickness of 110-115mm, this lintel provides reliable support where high load-bearing capacity is essential. Please note, a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) must be installed during construction to ensure proper moisture protection.

Application

This lintel is ideal for use in commercial and residential construction projects where extreme load support is critical. It is commonly installed above large window and door openings in cavity walls, providing structural integrity and longevity. The lintel must be laterally restrained and supported with a minimum 200mm end bearing for optimal performance. It is designed to accommodate inner to outer leaf load ratios ranging from 5:1 up to 19:1, making it suitable for a variety of heavy-duty building requirements.
