The Catnic CXL350 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel at 2950mm is engineered for builders and contractors requiring robust support over wide openings in cavity walls. Ideal for serious structural projects, this lintel combines strength with corrosion resistance, making it a dependable choice for demanding site conditions. Please note, a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) must be fitted during installation.

Application

This lintel is specifically designed to support heavy loads in cavity wall constructions with cavities ranging from 150mm to 165mm and an inner leaf thickness between 110mm and 115mm. It’s commonly used in commercial and residential builds where extreme load-bearing capacity is essential, such as lintelling large window and door openings or supporting masonry above structural voids. The lintel requires lateral restraint and a minimum 200mm end bearing for optimal performance.
