The Catnic CXL350 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel at 2550mm is engineered for builders and contractors tackling demanding structural projects. This lintel is designed specifically to support heavy loads in cavity walls measuring 150-165mm, offering robust performance and lasting durability thanks to its galvanised steel finish. Please note a separate flexible DPC must be fitted during installation to ensure long-term moisture protection.

Application

This lintel is ideal for use in masonry cavity walls where extreme load-bearing capacity is essential, such as in commercial developments, multi-storey buildings, and other serious construction projects. Its design suits cavity widths of 150-165mm with an inner leaf thickness of 110-115mm. The lintel requires lateral restraint on site and must have a minimum 200mm bearing at each end for optimal load distribution. For added versatility, an optional expanded metal mesh attachment is available to enhance base plate stability.
