The Catnic CXL350 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel at 2500mm is engineered for demanding building projects that require reliable structural support. Tailored for builders, contractors, and site managers working with cavity walls between 150 and 165mm and inner leaf thicknesses of 110 to 115mm, this lintel offers robust performance and corrosion resistance. Please note, a separate flexible DPC must be installed on site to ensure moisture protection.

Application

This lintel is suited for heavy-duty cavity wall construction where high load-bearing capacity is essential. It is commonly used in structural openings over doors and windows in residential and commercial developments. To achieve the specified load ratings, the lintel requires lateral restraint and a minimum of 200mm bearing at each end. Builders should ensure inner to outer leaf load ratios fall between 5:1 and 19:1 for optimal performance.
