The Catnic CXL350 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel is engineered specifically for demanding structural applications where heavy loads must be safely supported across cavity walls. Suited to builders, contractors, and site managers working with 150-165mm cavity walls and 110-115mm inner leaf thicknesses, this lintel offers reliable strength and durability to meet tough project requirements. Please note, a separate flexible DPC is required to be installed during construction.

Application

This lintel is ideal for spanning wide openings such as large doors and windows in cavity wall constructions subject to extreme loading conditions. It is frequently used on commercial and residential developments where structural integrity is critical. To achieve the specified loading performance, the lintel must be laterally restrained on site and have adequate 200mm end bearing supports. It can also be supplied with an optional expanded metal mesh fixed to the base plate to improve mortar keying.
