The Catnic CXL350 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel is engineered for contractors and site managers who demand dependable structural support in cavity walls. At 2300mm long, it’s specifically suited for walls with a 150-165mm cavity and an inner leaf thickness of 110-115mm. This lintel combines robust design with corrosion resistance, making it a smart choice for heavy-load applications on both residential and commercial builds. Please note, a separate flexible DPC must be fitted during installation.

Application

Ideal for use in cavity wall construction where heavy structural loads are expected, the CXL350 lintel provides essential support above openings such as doors, windows, and other wall penetrations. It’s well suited for large-scale developments and refurbishment projects where reliability and compliance with load ratios are critical. To achieve the specified load capacity, the lintel must be laterally restrained with a minimum 200mm end bearing support, and inner to outer leaf load ratios should be maintained between 5:1 and 19:1.
