The Catnic CXL330 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel at 6050mm is designed specifically for demanding structural applications where heavy load support is critical. Ideal for builders and contractors working on cavity walls with a 130-145mm cavity and 110-115mm inner leaf, this lintel delivers reliable performance and durability backed by high-grade materials and galvanised protection. Please note, a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) must be installed during the build to ensure proper moisture control.

Application

This lintel is suited to large openings in cavity wall constructions requiring extreme load-bearing capacity. It is commonly used in commercial and residential developments where structural integrity over wide spans is essential. The lintel must be laterally restrained and supported with a minimum 200mm bearing at each end to achieve its rated load performance. Optional expanded metal mesh can be supplied fixed to the base plate to aid plaster or render keying.
