Details

The Catnic CXL330 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel is engineered specifically for demanding structural projects requiring robust support over wide openings. Ideal for builders, contractors, and site managers working with cavity walls between 130mm and 145mm, this 5100mm lintel delivers exceptional strength and durability. Please note a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) must be installed during construction as it is not included.

Application

This lintel is designed to carry heavy loads across cavity walls with an inner leaf thickness of 110-115mm, making it suitable for commercial and residential developments where structural integrity is critical. It must be installed with lateral restraint and a minimum of 200mm bearing at each end to achieve specified load capacities. The product can also be supplied with optional expanded metal mesh fixed to the baseplate to aid plaster keying if required.
