The Catnic CXL330 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel at 4200mm is engineered to meet the demands of heavy structural loads on cavity walls. Ideal for builders, contractors, and site managers working on large-scale or commercial projects, this lintel offers robust support and durability where reliability matters most. Please note a separate flexible DPC must be installed during construction to ensure proper moisture control.

Application

This lintel is specifically designed for cavity walls with a 130-145mm cavity and an inner leaf thickness of 110-115mm. It is perfect for use in situations requiring extreme load-bearing capacity, such as multi-storey buildings, commercial developments, and complex structural frameworks. The lintel must be laterally restrained and supported with a minimum 200mm end bearing to achieve specified load capacities. For additional reinforcement, an optional expanded metal mesh can be supplied fixed to the base plate.
