The Catnic CXL330 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel at 3950mm is engineered for builders and contractors requiring dependable support across wider cavity walls. Its robust construction and galvanised finish make it a smart choice for heavy structural loads in cavity wall builds where reliability and durability are essential. Please note, a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) must be fitted during installation.

This lintel is designed for use in cavity walls with a cavity width of 130-145mm and an inner leaf thickness between 110-115mm. It is ideal for supporting heavy loads over openings such as large windows or doors in residential or commercial developments. The lintel’s design ensures it can handle extreme loading conditions when properly installed with adequate lateral restraint and bearing supports.

For optimal performance, ensure the lintel is laterally restrained with minimum 200mm end bearing supports and an inner to outer load ratio between 5:1 and 19:1. An optional expanded metal mesh can be supplied fixed to the base plate if required. Remember, bricks and other masonry components are sold separately.
