The Catnic CXL330 Extreme Load cavity wall lintel is engineered specifically for demanding construction projects requiring high structural performance. Ideal for builders and site managers working with cavity walls between 130-145mm and inner leaves of 110-115mm, this lintel delivers dependable support where heavy loads are expected. Please note that a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) must be installed during construction to ensure moisture protection.

Application

This lintel is suitable for heavy-duty cavity wall applications, commonly used in commercial and residential developments where substantial load-bearing capacity is essential. It supports masonry openings such as windows and doors in cavity walls, helping contractors and developers maintain structural integrity on serious builds. To achieve the specified load ratings, the lintel requires lateral restraint and minimum 200mm bearing at each end, with inner-to-outer leaf load ratios between 5:1 and 19:1.
