The Catnic CXL330 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel at 3150mm is engineered for builders and contractors tackling demanding structural openings in cavity walls. Its robust design and galvanised finish make it a reliable choice for heavy load-bearing applications where durability and compliance with building standards are essential. Please note, a separate flexible DPC must be installed during construction.

Application

This lintel is ideal for cavity walls with a width between 130mm and 145mm and an inner leaf thickness of 110-115mm. It is commonly used in masonry openings that require support for significant structural loads, such as large window or door spans on residential or commercial developments. The lintel must be installed with lateral restraint and a minimum 200mm bearing at each end to achieve its load-bearing capacity.
