Details

The Catnic CXL330 is a specialist extreme load cavity wall lintel, ideal for contractors and site managers working on demanding structural projects. Engineered for cavity widths of 130-145mm and an inner leaf of 110-115mm, this 2650mm lintel provides robust support where strength and reliability are essential. Please note that a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) must be fitted during installation as it is not included.

Application

This lintel is designed for heavy-duty load-bearing in cavity wall constructions, commonly used in commercial and large residential developments. It is suitable for situations where increased structural loads occur, such as above wide openings or where additional masonry weight is present. The lintel requires lateral restraint and must have at least 200mm of end bearing on masonry supports to achieve the specified load ratings.

As an optional extra, these lintels can be supplied with expanded metal mesh fixed to the base plate to enhance bonding with masonry. Please ensure all installation requirements, including separate DPC fitting, are followed to maintain structural integrity and durability on site.
