Details

The Catnic CXL330 is a specialist extreme load cavity wall lintel designed for builders and contractors working on demanding structural projects. Manufactured from high-quality Grade S275 steel and finished with a hot-dip galvanised coating, this 2400mm lintel offers reliable strength and corrosion resistance for cavity walls with a 130-145mm width and 110-115mm inner leaf. Please note, a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) must be fitted during installation.

Application

This lintel is specifically engineered to support heavy structural loads over openings such as doors and windows in cavity walls. It requires lateral restraint and at least 200mm end bearing on each side to perform effectively. It is suitable for use where inner to outer leaf load ratios fall between 5:1 and 19:1, making it ideal for large-scale residential or commercial developments demanding robust support.
