The Catnic CXL330 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel is engineered to provide exceptional strength and durability for demanding construction projects. Ideal for builders and site managers working with cavity walls between 130mm and 145mm thick, it supports heavy structural loads while ensuring long-term reliability. Please note, a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) must be installed during construction as it is not included with the lintel.

This lintel is specifically designed for use in cavity wall construction with an inner leaf thickness of 110-115mm. It is perfect for supporting large openings such as doorways and windows on projects requiring extreme load-bearing capacity. Its robust steel construction and galvanised finish make it suitable for both new builds and structural renovations where reliability and compliance with building standards are essential.

Type

Extreme load cavity wall lintel

To achieve the specified load performance, the lintel must be laterally restrained and installed with a minimum 200mm bearing at each end. Inner to outer leaf load ratios should be maintained between 5:1 and 19:1. As an optional upgrade, Catnic lintels can be supplied with expanded metal mesh fixed to the base plate—please enquire if required.
