The Catnic CXL310 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel is engineered for demanding structural applications where high load-bearing capacity is essential. Tailored for builders, contractors, and site managers working on substantial cavity wall constructions, this 6600mm lintel offers robust support combined with corrosion-resistant galvanised steel. Please note, a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) must be installed during construction.

Application

This lintel is specifically designed for cavity walls with a 110-125mm cavity and 110-115mm inner leaf thickness. It is suitable for heavy-duty openings such as large window or door frames in commercial or residential developments. The lintel must be installed with at least 200mm bearing at each end and be laterally restrained to achieve the specified load ratings. It is ideal for projects requiring reliable, structural-grade support where safety and compliance are paramount.
