Details

The Catnic CXL310 Extreme Load cavity wall lintel is a specialist structural support designed for demanding construction projects. Suited to builders, contractors, and site managers working with cavity walls between 110 and 125mm, this 6500mm lintel provides robust support where heavy loads are expected. Please note, a separate flexible DPC must be installed during construction to maintain building integrity.

Application

This lintel is primarily used in cavity wall construction where the inner leaf measures between 110 and 115mm. Its design supports extreme loads, making it ideal for commercial and residential developments requiring strong structural elements above openings such as doors and windows. The lintel must be laterally restrained and installed with a minimum 200mm bearing at each end to meet load requirements. Optional expanded metal mesh can be supplied to enhance plaster keying at the base plate.
