Note: A separate flexible DPC must be installed on site during construction.

The Catnic CXL310 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel is engineered for demanding structural applications, providing reliable support over wide openings in cavity walls. Ideal for builders and contractors working on substantial projects, this lintel combines robust steel construction with a corrosion-resistant galvanised finish to ensure long-term performance. Please note, a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) must be installed during build to comply with best practice.

Application

This lintel is specifically designed for cavity walls with a cavity width of 110-125mm and an inner leaf thickness between 110-115mm. It is perfect for heavy load-bearing requirements such as large window or door openings in residential or commercial builds. The lintel’s structural design ensures it can carry extreme loads when properly laterally restrained and supported with a minimum 200mm bearing at each end.
