Details

The Catnic CXL310 Extreme Load cavity wall lintel is engineered for builders and contractors handling demanding structural projects. At 5600mm long, this lintel is specifically designed to support heavy loads across cavity walls between 110 and 125mm wide, making it a reliable choice for robust building requirements. Please note, a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) must be installed on site during construction.

Application

This lintel is ideal for use in cavity wall construction where extreme loading conditions are anticipated, such as large openings or areas carrying significant weight above. It is suitable for cavity walls with an inner leaf thickness of 110-115mm, commonly encountered in commercial and residential developments. The lintel requires lateral restraint and must be supported with minimum 200mm end bearings to ensure optimum load distribution and structural integrity.
