The Catnic CXL310 Extreme Load cavity wall lintel is engineered for demanding structural applications where high load capacity is essential. Suitable for builders, contractors and site managers working on cavity walls ranging from 110 to 125mm, this 5250mm lintel offers the reliability and strength needed for serious construction projects. Please note that a separate flexible DPC must be fitted during installation as it is not included.

Application

This lintel is ideal for spanning large openings in cavity walls with inner leaves between 110 and 115mm thick. Its robust design supports extreme load conditions commonly encountered in commercial and residential developments, including door and window openings requiring substantial structural support. The lintel must be laterally restrained and installed with minimum 200mm end bearings to achieve rated load performance.

Lengths are available in 50mm increments up to 6600mm if a different size is required. An optional expanded metal mesh can be supplied fixed to the base plate for specific applications. Remember to install a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) during construction, as this lintel does not include one.
