The Catnic CXL310 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel at 4800mm is engineered for builders and contractors tackling demanding structural projects that require robust, reliable lintels. Specifically designed for cavity walls between 110-125mm and inner leaf thicknesses of 110-115mm, this lintel’s heavy-duty construction makes it a smart choice where exceptional load-bearing capacity is essential. Please note, a separate flexible DPC must be fitted during installation to maintain building integrity.

Application

This lintel is ideal for use in cavity wall construction where extreme load conditions apply, such as multi-storey residential or commercial developments. It supports masonry openings like windows and doors while maintaining structural stability under significant weight. The lintel must be laterally restrained and installed with a minimum 200mm end bearing on each side to achieve the specified load ratings. Contractors can also opt for a version fitted with expanded metal mesh for enhanced base plate reinforcement.
